What is Kids Connect?

Kids Connect is a new trial program we will be running beginning in August/September 2026.

We will have two groups each month and parents will have the option to sign up for one or both! These are drop-off preschool-style groups for children age 2.5-5, led by a Board-Certified Music Therapist. Each group will have a theme explored through activities like stories, music enrichment, mindful movement, sensory play, process-based crafts, and more. Through this program we will promote our mission of supporting kids and their caregivers by promoting connection, child independence/autonomy, and early development skills!

Group Options

Sensory Explorers

Experiment and play using all 5 senses in our Sensory Explorers playgroup.

Each session of this group promotes mindfulness and body awareness with music, sensory play, mindful movement, snacks, and more.

Focuses on: Social connections, mindfulness, Sensory resilience, body awareness, and independence

1st Friday of each month

Itsy Bitsy Book Club

"Study" a story or author in our Itsy Bitsy Book Club playgroup.

Each session of this group explores favorite authors and stories with music, crafts, snacks, and more.

Focuses on: Social connections, Early literacy concepts, Building creativity, self-confidence, and independence

3rd Friday of each month

Daily Rhythm

9:00am- Open Play with friends (opening activities)
9:30am- Connection Circle + Lesson/Story Introduction
9:50am- Activity #1
10:15am- Mindful snack (fruits, veggies, or a parent-approved snack activity)
10:35am- Activity #2
11:15am- Goodbyes and Closing play
